  Privacy Policy

Our commitment is to your Privacy.

At Greater Impact we respect our customer’s privacy and recognise that your privacy is very important. We want you to be confident that your personal information is treated with the highest degree of integrity and privacy. Our Privacy Policy applies the rules under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) including the National Privacy Principles.

1/ How do we collect personal information?

We may collect information from you in person, over the telephone, fax, and email or via the website on our online applications, or through surveys or joint marketing programs.

2/ What do we collect and why?

We collect both personal and business information including but not limited to:-

  • Your name, address and contact details

  • Your date of birth

  • Your marital status and dependency details

  • Your occupations, employment details and period of employment

  • Your income details

  • Your asset and liability details

  • Your insurance details

  • Your company or business details including ABN

Our primary purpose for gather this information is to assist in providing services for you and your business. This could include but is not limited to transactions being processed with appropriate banks, lending institutions, finance companies, insurance providers and vocational education institutions (RTO), Accountants and the Australian Taxation Office.

3/ How do we use your personal information?

Greater Impact generally collects, uses and discloses this information in order to benefit you as our customer. It assists us in completing any relevant documents in order for it to be presented to any of the bodies above. If you opt to, your information can also assist in providing us with information that will allow us to provide you with added products and services that we have available and that are being developed and researched in the future.

4/ Do we disclose your personal information?

In order to arrange the service requested by you, your personal information may be disclosed to an appropriate bank, lending institution, finance company,  insurance provider, accountancy firm, Australian Taxation Office and vocational education institutions (RTO's). There may also be occasions where information is disclosed to agents or contractors who we ordinarily use to conduct business, on a confidential basis.

Greater Impact may also disclose personal information necessary to third party service providers in order to discuss and or service other related products for your benefit. You can opt out of disclosing personal information to third parties at anytime by notifying us in writing.

5/ Is your personal information secure?

The protection of your personal information is a priority to Greater Impact. For this reason we take all reasonable precautions to safeguard your information from loss, misuse, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.

This includes appropriate technology to protect personal information stored electronically, as well as information stored in hard copy format.

6/ Can I access personal information Greater Impact holds?

At any time you may request in writing to have access to your personal file.  If you would like to request access to your file please contact our Administration Manager on 1300 654 584. Our aim is to provide you with this information within a 14 day turnaround time. This will enable us to process your request thoroughly and appropriately to ensure the access granted is comprehensive.

By law as well as good business practice we retain your personal files for a period of time after you have ceased your relationship with us. After this time period has expired we attend to the secure destruction or deletion of your personal information.

7/ Do I need to be identified?

Generally it is not possible for us to go about our normal business practice with you unless we have identified you. This is necessary as a standard business practice and also protects you against someone using your name fraudulently.

Wherever it is lawful and practicable to do so, we may offer you the opportunity to deal with us anonymously, if you request.

8/ Do you have any concerns about how we handle your information?

Any concerns you may have in relation to our Privacy practices including complaints about how your personal information has been managed should be made to the administration manager. We ask that the complaint be made in writing. Our aim is to respond to your complaint within a 14 day timeframe of receipt of your complaint.

9/ Can the Privacy Policy of Greater Impact change?

Our commitment to being a leader in our field means that our business is constantly reviewing policies and procedures as we develop and introduce new products and services. As a result of this changes may occur to our Privacy Policy from time to time. Any amended policy will apply regardless of whether or not we have specifically notified you of the change.
